Business Process Analyst - Fund Accounting required for a leading global asset management and asset servicing organisation on an initial 6 month contract based in London.

Due to continuous growth in the EMEA and Bangalore Fund Accounting business, there is an opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable applicant to join the FA BPA team in London.

The role involves development and support of the Invest One fund accounting system and all its ancillary applications, responsible for delivering business analysis skills across various FA projects and initiatives and analysing operations processes and problems to identify areas for automation or improved workflow and improve efficiency

The key responsibilities of the role include:

? Lead and facilitate change for the Fund Accounting department

? Lead the business requirements documentation for allocated projects, business and client change

? Analysis of Fund Accounting operational procedures, processes, and issues to identify areas for automation to reduce risk and improve efficiency.

? Execution of user acceptance testing of large initiatives and new releases of applications

? Employ project management tools and techniques when working on docket or project initiatives.

? Provide support for upstream interfaces and downstream reporting

? Provide support to departments such as Financial reporting, Pricing, Corporate Actions and any other additional users of Fund Accounting applications

? Support to the new business team where necessary

? Build strong working relationships with other departments throughout the organisation

The successful candidate will benefit from having:

                                                                                                                         Previous experience of being a Business Analyst in a large financial services organisation.

                                                                                                                         Self-starter and highly motivated

                                                                                                                         Strong business analysis skills

                                                                                                                         Strong time management skills

                                                                                                                         Strong knowledge of Fund Accounting

                                                                                                                         Strong knowledge on Other Operational areas Investment Management, Custody and Transfer Agency

                                                                                                                         Good understanding of the SunGard Invest One platform.

                                                                                                                         Excellent written and oral communication skills & presentation skills
