Quantity Surveyor - Refurbishment ProjectLocation:  North EssexDuration:  6 month initial contract - extension likely Rate: £300-320 per dayMy client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor tto come down and join their team on a large refurvishment project they are starting soon. Ideally the right candidate will come from a main contracting background with a good understanding of refurbishment work.They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor, to compliment the team, ideally with the following skills:-          Strong NEC3 contract knowledge-          Previous experience working on Refurb projects-          Previous experience working well within a team-          Experience within some residential or construction projects, is possibleGeneral Responsibilities:

'€¢Manage monthly cost reports and forecast cost values accurately from the start of the project through until the end'€¢Review general contract progress and be active in addressing any existing issues'€¢Submitting interim and final valuations'€¢Identify any potential risks and decide best options for control'€¢Monitor cash flow'€¢Review all issues as well as providing solutions'€¢Monitor contract costs
