Do you have a degree in a science or engineering subject with applications experience in the design and development of products? Are you looking for a great opportunity in a varied and diverse role?

This market leading business design, manufacture and service their own extensive range of electro-mechanical equipment, and are the pioneers in the industry. The company are able to offer ongoing training and development as the business looks to diversify and maintain their global expert status. They are now looking for an Applications Engineer to join the journey.

In this varied role you will be working with the applications team, developing product solutions from the design stage through to completion whilst supporting customer trials and engaging with sales department. You will be travelling from site to site, providing documentation and reports for each visit.

This role would suit a science or engineering degree qualified individual with electro-mechanical knowledge through the design and development of products.

This person must have great communication skills and be personable. The successful applicant will benefit from specific product training and progression opportunities.

The role:

* Applications Engineering

* Design and Development of products/applications

* Customer support

* Provide technical solutions, analysis and manage the process

* Documentation and reports

* Assisting R&D and Sales team

* £38,000 - £45,000 + Training + Progression + Holiday + Benefits

The person:

* Degree qualified in science or engineering subject

* Design and development skills - CAD

* Ability and willingness to learn is essential

* Awareness of electro-mechanical products/applications is desirable

* Must be willing to travel
