Senior Data and BI Manager

Bradford

£70K - £90K Depending on experience + Car and Bonus

My client, a highly successful organisation are seeking an experienced Senior Data and BI Manager to join their growing offices in Bradford. As part of the Data and BI Team you will be key to the delivery of the business Data and BI assets.

The role will be to work across a variety of different business units providing and managing a development and service management function across both traditional Data Warehousing, through to Big Data.

Working with an Agile approach including DevOps this role will involve managing a range of Development and Data teams both in-house as well as offshore.

Key responsibilities;;

*Managing development and service management teams, including 3rd party suppliers totaling upwards of 50 direct reports.

*Putting in place Agile and DevOps ways of working.

*Improving business processes, maintaining transparency of progress and improving business confidence in delivery

*Influence and communicate across a wide range of senior stakeholders, both internal and external to the business.

*The role will engage a number of areas of the business to identify current and future needs with the ability to articulate future opportunities in a non-technical language and quickly identify business benefits

*Responsible for defining the future reporting roadmap

*Keeping track of market trends and best practice as a source of improvement.

The ideal candidate will be used to managing a broad range of different business streams and units within an enterprise environment. With solid experience with Agile environments and an ability to implement an agile approach across the business you will also have exceptional Stakeholder management skills being able to effectively negotiate and make an impact to deliver projects. Experience with BI and Data tools including Big Data would also be favourable.

*Oracle, Qlikview, Tableau and other reporting tools

*Google Cloud Services

*Data security, privacy and retention
