Business Analyst (Wealth Platform, Investment Management / Administration) required on a permanent basis working in the City of London.

Our client an investment management and wealth platform organisation is undergoing a period of exceptional growth. They are looking to expand their Business Analysis team to work on key business projects moving forwards.

What will the key purpose of the Business Analyst?

To perform a key role in designing and implementing business systems and operational change. This is a business facing role and not a technical position.

The organisation has an exciting and challenging innovative change programme, the business analyst will work heart of developments ensuring that all change is aligned to the organisations strategic goals.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Business analysis.

Writing business/functional specifications.

Developing business ideas into rounded and practical business requirements

Cross functional liaison across all areas of the client, including senior stakeholders.

Some project management and reporting - developing, monitoring and reporting on robust project plans.

Full project lifecycle

Providing training material.

Adherence at all times to the Treating Customers Fairly policy as implemented by the client.

Acting consistently in accordance with the clients professional Mission and Tenets.

What key skills & experience does the Operations Business Analyst need to have?

SKILLS:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work autonomously in a complex business environment.

Client focused business analysis methodology.

Attention to detail.

Ability to listen to (and influence) business users and translate to documents which can be understood by the technical team who will build the systems.

Ability to propose potential solutions to business/systems issues.

Change control.

Highly computer literate.

Ability to adapt and learn new skills.

KNOWLEDGE:

Experience of retail investments and investment management (including operational knowledge) would be advantageous.

Financial services knowledge essential

Experience of preparing business / functional specifications.

Extensive experience in business analysis across full change project lifecycles

Visio and or other process modelling tools

Understanding of both waterfall and agile methodologies
