At FCO Services, we protect information, assets and people for government-level customers in the UK and around the world. So the project management opportunities we can offer, to experienced professionals like you, are as critical as they are complex. Join us, in this key team leadership role, and you will be able to drive ongoing improvements to the work done by our Professional Service Centre teams and throughout the wider business.

Raise standards across your team and beyond

Your role will involve taking responsibility for a team of around 10 Construction/Estates project managers, including both contractors and permanent staff, ensuring they provide a highly effective service and that their projects and your own achieve required targets of revenue and customer satisfaction. It is a wide and varied remit and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to make your mark on the business, as you drive innovation and delivery, help raise industry standards and champion project management across the organisation. There is also a chance that you will be given additional responsibility for coordinating our various project management areas to ensure a joined-up approach.

You know how to make a great team even better

We’re looking for a strong leader and communicator who is able to collaborate equally effectively whether working with external suppliers or in-house teams. You must have a PRINCE2 Practitioner, APMB, ISEB Certificate in Project Management (or equivalent) and proven experience of using project management methodologies. You should also have knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation and specific understanding and experience of Construction/Estates projects. In addition, you will need professional qualifications in building construction, building services or a related discipline along with membership of RIBA, RICS, ICE, IStructE, CIBSE or CIOB.

And you’re ready for a role with global impact

At FCO Services, we keep information, assets and people safe all around the world. This gives every job here added significance. It will also make your achievement all the more impressive, as you help raise the standards of critical services that government-level customers everywhere rely on. And, thanks to the global nature of our business, there will be lots of opportunities for you to travel and engage with diverse people and cultures in the UK and overseas.

All our employees have to be security cleared to the highest level, so you will need to undergo a comprehensive vetting process before joining.
