SteelEye is an exciting start-up and the only regulatory compliance technology and data analytics firm that offers transaction reporting, record keeping, trade reconstruction, best execution and data insight in one comprehensive solution.

We are now looking to grow our team and require a Full-Stack Engineer to join our Developer team on a 3-month contract, with the potential to move into a permanent position.

What you’ll do

                                                            Develop a new application using JavaScript and React

                                                            Understand loosely defined business requirements, translate them into technical specs and build performant, reliable and maintainable software

                                                            Participate in brainstorming and open discussions to evolve the product

                                                            Support and improve the continuous delivery process

                                                            Enjoy working with a talented team on modern and elegant technology stack

What we’re looking for

                                                            Strong proficiency in JavaScript, DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

                                                            Working knowledge or understanding of Python or other dynamic language

                                                            Demonstrable understanding of React.js and its core principles

                                                            Experience with popular React.js workflows (e.g., Redux) would be added plus

                                                            Experience with common front-end dev tools (e.g., Babel, Webpack, NPM, Yarn, etc.)

                                                            Knowledge of new EcmaScript specs

                                                            Experience with continuous delivery process (GIT, automated testing, CI/CD pipeline)

                                                            Proven experience with RESTful APIs and especially Elastic-search
