Application Analyst/ Developer

My client based in Tayside are looking to bring on an Application Analyst/ Developer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the IT Management Team, Commercial Managers and Business Partners with a day to day support and development of enhancements to business processes and systems.

Responsibilities

* Gather and use feedback from stakeholders, measuring effectiveness of stakeholder management and enhancing the relationship through communication

* Provide specialist knowledge/ advice regarding applications

* Recommend/ designs structure and tools for systems, in line with business requirements

* Develop and maintain specialist knowledge of database concepts, object and data modelling techniques and design principles

* Analyse data requirements for the modification/ maintenance of object/ data models

* Designs, codes, tests, corrects and documents and complex programs/ program modification to engineer a desired result

* Define integration build, working closely with the software developers

Key Skills

* Microsoft SQL Server Stack, SSIS, SSRS

* Oracle/ Cognos working environment

* Maintenance of corporate systems such as SAP, ERP etc.

* Service delivery experience within an ITIL framework

Desirable

* ITIL Service Management Certification

* GDPR or other Data Protection Act training
