Supportability Engineering Manager, FTSE 250 Organisation - up to £47,000 + Benefits + Exceptional career progression.

I am recruiting on behalf of a FTSE 250 engineering organisation and market leader in providing through life engineering support to the defence industry. This particular role functions within the CISR domain, providing long term support to military communication and intelligence systems.

The Supportability Engineering Manager will provide engineering and project leadership for, and have delegated authority over, staff allocated to the development of Supportability related outputs during the bid and acquisition phases of CISR projects. In support of this purpose, the CISR SEM will have a good understanding of the analytical and overall planning and prioritisation aspects of supportability elements:

Furthermore, you will also act as the line manager for CISR Supportability Engineering (SE) team members, with responsibility for the direction of day to day activities, workplace Health and Safety, training and professional development.

Key skills/requirements

* Understanding of MoD Acquisition Operating Framework (AQF)

* Fully conversant with DEF STAN 00-600

* Support domain Knowledge

* Good technical report writing and communication skills

* Degree qualified or significant relevant experience
