Application Owner (Service Delivery, SAP - FICO, P2P, MM, SRM, ITIL) required for an initial 6 Months working in Sunbury, Middlesex
Role synopsis:
The Business Application Services (BAS) team deliver and manage a suite of common processes and services for Enterprise Systems, based upon the ITIL framework. The BAS team aims to deliver a stable and highly reliable suite of applications, based mainly around the SAP application suite.
Within BAS, the PME Service Delivery Management team is responsible for:
Management of the relationship between segment CIOs and business representatives (especially business Subject Matter experts)
Initiating escalation to the appropriate process owner when necessary
Being the conduit for communication between the business and the segment CIOs
Gathering business feedback, determining business requirements and predicting business volumes to inform capacity and disaster recovery planning
Supporting the operation of effective support processes through the provision of business context and/or technical knowledge.
The Application owner is responsible for providing business context and coordinating BAS and business interaction with respect to the operational support of one or more SAP applications within BAS. This role reports directly to the Service Delivery Manager
Required essential skills:
Familiarity with the following modules in SAP - FICO, MM, SRM.
At least 5 years' experience supporting these modules in SAP at a medium to large end user.
Extensive experience in deploying/supporting Finance/controlling/P2P modules
Must be able to demonstrate strong track record for delivering change and positive outcomes within a multi country environment including UK, US and KL
Must have a track record of successfully transitioning in new applications into a global cooperation IS structure
Must have a strong track record of performing applications support functions in a global SAP environment, i.e. where SAP is the enterprise application.
Ability to create excellent working relationships with the Business system support teams, and across the organisation and key suppliers
Awareness of business and IT&S strategies
Excellent influencing capabilities
Strong process skills
Must have practical ITIL experience
Degree level or Masters qualification ITIL Foundation qualification
