Liaise regularly with customers to understand IT issues.
Triage faults, service improvements and technologies, assessing their impact on BAU support.

Depending on skills and experience demonstrated in the recruitment process, as a Senior 2nd Line Support Engineer you may also have the opportunity to:
Work with other senior engineers to manage resource requirements for resolutions.
Assist in the design and delivery of new technologies and infrastructure components for our various operational IT platforms.
Manage, as well as operate within the out of houses on-call cover rota.
We are seeking individuals who can demonstrate good communication skills who are keen to learn and develop further their technical knowledge. You will have an understanding of the role of a second line support engineer, and able to demonstrate good problem solving skills.
