Role: Billing Manager

Salary £25,000 - £30,000 per annum dependant on experience

Essential experience: Telecoms Billing within a Telco

Our client is an expanding telecommunications specialist that supplies business telephony solutions to large and small organisations. These solutions are built around industry leading communications technologies from the world's leading vendors including Avaya, BT, TalkTalk Business, Gamma, Vodafone, O2 and EE. Operating nationwide, the company now requires an experienced Billing Manager to join their growing team. Their office is within commuting distance of Leeds, Dewsbury, Wakefield, Barnsley.

For this role it is essential the successful candidate has Billing experience within a Telco.

Reporting to the commercial manager, the billing manager will be expected to carry out but not be restricted to the following duties:

Billing

*Responsible for the day to day running of the billing platform; importing and checking Call Data Records (CDRs), usage reporting, correcting and analysing rejections.

*Deal with all billing queries from end customers and internal departments.

*Liaise with different departments including operations, project, billing and finance to resolve queries for customers on time.

*Ensure all activities are logged appropriately in the CRM system.

*Assist operations / projects teams in adding new customer billing information in to the billing system, along with double checking the input of others in order to minimise errors.

* Assist the billing manager with the downloading and importing of CDR files for the monthly bill run.

*Keep supplier tariffs up to date to ensure profit is reported correctly.

*Work through the monthly rejects and fixed reconciliation for the monthly bill run.

*Reconcile supplier invoices against what customers are being billed and raising queries appropriately to suppliers.

*Perform administration tasks within the billing system and CRM system to ensure records are accurate and up to date.

*Utilise various portals for different products and suppliers.

*Provide reports from the billing system to the Commercial Manager on a monthly basis

*Record accurate details ons Microsoft Dynamics CRM package and the aBILLity billing system.

*Manage the process of on-boarding new clients in the billing platform

* Finalising and processing the companies monthly bill run 16th of each month.

Customer Services

*Answer the telephone and emails and dealing with first-line billing queries.

* Log support cases both internally and with external suppliers.

*Keep the customer fully informed of updates.

*Assist in resolving any queries from clients or resellers

* Ad-hoc support will also be required from time to time with other areas of commercial

and operations, such as: mobiles, sales support, provisioning, technical support.

In addition, you will create standard operating procedures to ensure that all aspects of Billing

Support is completed uniformly.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills (the ideal candidate MUST have these skills and prior

experience)

Experience using aBILLity or similar Billing platform

Previous experience billing wholesale mobiles through aBILLity

Excellent communication skills for dealing with customers, resellers & suppliers

A solid understanding of MS excel data manipulation and reporting

Strong organisational, presentation, and customer service skills.

Extremely competent in written communication / reporting skills.

Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.

Awareness of all business departments and how they work together.

Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide services.

Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.

Understanding of telecoms and IT billing to include

WLR, Ethernet/Data circuits, Mobile calls & services, ADSL/FTTC, SIP, Inbound & NGN
