This highly profitable financial institution requires a PMO Lead to provide project management support, governance and control services to key programmes within the portfolio. Working closely with project managers and the Portfolio PMO Lead you will be responsible for providing all primary PMO services such as planning and schedule management, financial management, resource management, risk and issue management, reporting and communication, Governance and change control and QA

You will need to adopt a pragmatic, flexible and responsive approach whilst managing competing demands from different project managers simultaneously. Working with the portfolio manager to ensure adherence to group standards and governance for risk management whilst performing regular financial reviews to manage the project budget.

Experience within an investment bank or large financial services organisation of large scale change programmes with geographically dispersed teams is desirable, as is a background working across several different sectors with both business and technology related projects. You will need strong planning, organisational and coaching skills with excellent communication and the ability to influence and build relationships across a wide network of stakeholders including senior management.
