Systems Engineer

Summary
Working as part of a small team of systems engineers, candidates will provide systems support to several key activities including documentation updates, script updates and verification. There will be some involvement in executing systems testing on the System rigs as part of verification and debugging activities. Reporting to the systems team leader the suitable candidates will be expected to be pro-active, able to work on their own and with minimal supervision. Equally they must also be team players and able to able to co-operate with other disciplines within the wider teams.
Responsibilities
* Authoring and modification of existing systems documentation.
* Test Script updates
* Test Script verification
* Configuration control of system artefacts and documentation.
* Working to cost and schedule as determine by the Systems cost account manager (CAM).
* Tracking and reporting of task progress to the Systems team leader/CAM.
* Working in collaboration with the software team to debug functionality.
* Verification work on Systems rigs in a lab environment.
* Production/update of documentation to aerospace standards.
* Update/review of Systems test scripts.
* Debugging of test scripts on System rigs.
* Working to cost and schedule as determined by the project management.
* Tracking and reporting to tech/lead and cost account manager.
* Configuration Control of Systems artefacts and documentation.
* Liaise with other team members including the wider team outside of immediate Systems team.
