Senior Cloud (AWS) Security Architect - Surrey - 3 months - Competitive Rate

Currently looking for a Senior Cloud (AWS) Security Architect to join our client, a market leader in their respecitive industry, on an initial 3 months contract based in Surrey. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and ready to interview immediately.

Required Experience:

* 5+ years' experience in Security Architecture, with a minimum of 5 years of experience designing and implementing security policies and infrastructure in a multi-tenant ISP Datacenter environment and/or cloud computing environment.

* 5+ years of relevant information security leadership experience.

* Deep understanding of common security protocols/standards/frameworks: SAML, XACML, Kerberos, RBAC, OpenID, OAuth, ACLs, LDAP/SSO integration, identity federation, Central Authentication Service (CAS), JAAS, and Java crypto API etc.

* Expert knowledge of Cloud security architectures, strategies and standards to determine, develop and deliver comprehensive security requirements in the role of senior technical security advisor.

* Demonstrated AWS, Rackspace, or other Public/Hybrid/Private Cloud Experience.

* At least 5+ years of Data Center experience.

* Strong background in designing highly and operating scalable web applications.

* Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to apply them during business impacting incidents.

* In-depth knowledge of OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities and remediation methods.

* Project Management, Problem Solving, Expert LAN and WAN Knowledge, Complex Network Design and Implementation, Network Troubleshooting, Network Hardware Configuration, Network Performance Tuning, People Management.

* Significant knowledge of standards, security controls, information technology and information security - Broad knowledge of a wide range of security and non-security technologies. - Technical expertise in one or more of the following: application security, cloud/virtualization security, server/OS security, identity and access management, and network security.

Resposibilities:

* Develops and maintains Client's Private and Hybrid Cloud security architectures.

* Plans, organizes directs and manages resources for effective and efficient use of security technologies related to the protection of Cloud computing systems and data.

* Serves as Subject Matter Expert on Cloud Security issues and questions.

* Security Systems Operations & Engineering. Ensure that the security of all systems is actively maintained and hardened against industry, legal and compliance standards.

* Access Control & Credential Security Management. Ensure that all access controls are implemented, maintained and monitored through a secure methodology that supports operational & security compliance requirements.

* Engage with functional stakeholders (e.g. legal, compliance, engineering, enterprise security, etc.) to determine security needs to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.

* Work with the current Enterprise security team Establish and maintain a risk-based security program for private cloud focused on appropriate detection, response, and prevention activities.

* Oversee planning, design, implementation, and operation of network infrastructure projects and participate in the specification of business requirements and implementation plans for technically advanced internetworking solutions.
