About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join CQC and become a key member of our Digital Portfolio Management Team.

As a Digital Commercial Officer you will support the Digital Portfolio Manager with budgeting, forecasting and financial projection. You will produce detailed reports and extract financial and commercial data in order to accurately track and maintain the Digital and IT purchase ledger.

You will support the production and maintenance of the Digital Road Map, ensuring that services and support are tendered and renewed in a timely manner and in accordance with EU procurement legislations.

Acting as a subject matter expert in Digital you will monitor performance indicators and operate appropriate procedures for the support of Digital financial processes ensuring proper documentation and clear audit trails exist, identifying trends, preventing and/or resolving issues as they arise on an ongoing basis.

By carrying out these duties the successful candidate will ensure that Digital commercial risk is identified and managed effectively and enable effective decisions to be made on Digital related investments.

About you

You will be proficient in the use of Excel and Microsoft Office, have an eye for detail, and will possess excellent problem solving skills.

The ability to prioritise work effectively and work to tight deadlines is crucial; ensuring your work is always of the highest standard. Excellent relationship building skills are essential as you will be working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Knowledge of Digital services, contract management and budgets would be beneficial.
