Leading tier 1 bank in UK is looking for a Project Manager to join their office location in Northampton for a 3 months rolling contract. The ideal project manager will have banking experience combined with an extensive knowledge and experience of project and change management.

Responsibilities:

* Exercise overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the programme/ project

* Manage the lead supplier

* Provide day to day direction to the project team and manage the budget

* Work with the Programme Manager to deliver effective communications and manage relationships with key stakeholders at executive and direct reports' levels

* Own and drive the Project planning framework, ensuring the plans are developed and tracked

* Own and drive the effective governance of the Project, via the Project Management Office

* Manage, co-ordinate and control the project scope

Requirements:

* Change management and project management expertise

* Talents in data transfer such as XSD, SOAP, and Web Services

* Acquisition experience is essential

* Expertise in change management methods and tools, in particular the Change Management method and toolkit

* Understand at a high level the interface between complex business needs and complex legal and regulatory environment in which the business operates

* Previous banking experience or payment solutions provider is essential
