A successful London-based Consultancy are looking for a Data Architect to join their team and effectively kick start their Data function.

They have brought a number of well-known global tech institutions into the Big Data space. If you can demonstrate a solid understanding of Big Data technologies and Data Warehousing, then you could be the Data Architect and Consultant that we're looking for.

What will you be doing?

As a Data Architect, you'll work alongside the Lead Software Architect to analyse existing systems and understand business processes in order to architect solutions across a number of industries. You will work on a variety of scalable projects and maximise performance by making data-driven decisions in order to modernise your clients' businesses.

What skills/experience should you have?

* Knowledge of legacy platforms - Data Warehousing, RDBMS (Oracle / SQL)

* Familiarity with Big Data Technologies such as Hadoop

* Implementation of ETL processes

Although not an essential requirement for the role, if you can demonstrate an understanding of Scala and Spark, this may enhance your application.
