Scope

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for updating the Systems Engineering Processes and work practises. This will involve:

* A systematic and methodical review of current processes and practices used across the whole product development lifecycle

* Creation of new or updated processes

* Roll-out and introduction into the Business Management System

* The successful candidate will be working within a large multi-disciplinary organisation.

Key Accountabilities

* Responsible for delivering key system engineering processes across the product lifecycle

* Working closely with the project teams including the System Design Authority, Engineering Manager and

Team Engineers

Knowledge, skills and personal qualities required

* Good sound knowledge and understanding of systems engineering principles and their application to multi-disciplinary (mechanical, electrical, electronic and software design principles) engineering projects

* Knowledge and experience in developing and applying SE process

* Knowledge and experience of INCOSE Systems Engineering practice and principles

* Knowledge and experience in applying ISO Systems and Software Engineering - Life Cycle and

Management

* Knowledge and experience in applying Systems and Software Engineering - System Life Cycle Processes

* Qualified to degree level or equivalent (HND/HNC), having worked in a multi-disciplined design environment for a significant period

* Ability to gain SC security clearance
