Senior QA Analyst

We are seeking a Senior QA Test Analyst (Agile) to join one of the industry's truly pioneering financial software businesses. As a Senior QA Test Analyst, you will be working with some of the world's leading investment banks, hedge funds and brokerages. Working as part of a highly impressive Development Team, you will carry out a range of testing activities (manual & automation, full STLC) and carry out QA activity on high performing, multi-asset capability software.

We are offering the chance for the successful Senior QA Analyst to join either a well-established team, focussing on the company's flagship, award-winning FinTech product where process is already in place, or a newly-formed product team, currently working as a start-up team embedded in the business.

The Senior QA will be passionate about all aspects of software testing and boast excellent experience of working in a close-knit Development Team within an Agile, fast-paced environment.

Skills required for the Senior QA Analyst:

* Solid background in manual software testing and QA - automation would be great but not essential.

* Experience of working in an Agile environment/team

* Demonstrable experience of working as part of a high-performing development team, testing for bugs at each stage of development (including the design stage), TDD, BDD - full SDLC!

* A 2:1 Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a numerate subject (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics) from a top ranking university essential

* ISTQB certified ideally

* Experience working with .Net software preferred (but open to other languages)

* Excellent communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with the wider business

This role will suit a Senior QA Analyst who is hugely passionate about testing, loves working as part of a Development Team on ground-breaking, award-winning products within an innovative, Agile environment. You will also have to chance to be involved in relevant conferences, training sessions and monthly meetup's, and work on personal projects as part of your role!

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience) + benefits
