Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant to be based in London on an initial 6 Month contract. Experienced Salesforce Consultant with extensive Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.

Duration - 3 - 6 Months

The Marketing Automation Consultant works as a trusted Marketing Technology Expert with client business and technology leaders to interpret clients' strategic marketing objectives and to develop technology roadmaps that include all aspects of the clients' operational marketing capabilities.

The Consultant reviews and evaluates business systems, processes, and requirements to design and implement marketing automation systems that meet overall client business objectives. Core responsibilities are: facilitating workshops, configuring the system, and managing relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. The ability to lead a workstream for large-sized projects and guide the work of the supporting team would be advantageous.

Help articulate and develop Clients solutions strategy, working with senior stakeholders in our CRM practice, global Centres of Excellence, other horizontal and vertical practices, Global Technology Office, onshore and offshore development centres and partner stakeholders.

As a Marketing Automation SME, you will be expected to continue to develop Platform knowledge across the Marketing Automation Industry. Taking advantage of the 'entrepreneurial' approach to ongoing training and certification

Responsibilities

* Engage with clients to assess their current sales and marketing landscape and processes and document business requirements/user stories.

* Plan and facilitate onsite client workshops to share Cognizant's marketing automation framework, best practices, and case studies.

* Work with clients to identify objectives, build a strategic framework, and define projects to address specific needs.

* Execute and oversee marketing automation administration, configuration, migration, campaign execution, and testing activities.

* Keep up-to-date on latest industry trends and research to share with clients and to continually optimize their marketing automation strategy.

* Support pre-sales engagements with campaign designs, Statement of Works and project estimations.

* Define high-quality high-level application / integration designs, particularly between BI - Marketing - CRM solutions, in line with clients' strategic marketing objectives, and communicate them to client and internal stakeholders.

* Support post-sales engagements with roadmaps for high level design, technology architecture and functional capacity.

* Support organizational and Business Change efforts associated with marketing transformation projects (training programs, skill assessments, backfill requirements).

* Build complex Multi-Channel Customer Journey's within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

* Design integrations between Ad Tech tools (Salesforce DMP, SAS IA) and MarTech tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

* Contribute to further development of the practice by supporting training requirements, develop Cognizant's knowledge base, obtaining relevant certifications for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and supporting business requirements as needed by the sales and marketing departments to promote Cognizant's services.

Required skills

Experience

* Proven marketing automation and/or implementation consulting experience.

* Experience with Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Audience Builder and Mobile connect is a must.

* Ability to distil requirements and action items from multiple information sources

* Ability to transform high level concepts into realistic examples that clients can understand and absorb

* Knowledge of demand generation strategies, campaign execution tactics and best practices, data hygiene and reporting capabilities

* Project management experience is a plus

* Direct / 1-1 Marketing multichannel, outbound and inbound campaign management functional and process knowledge

* Marketing Resource Management (brief, workflow, budgeting) concepts

* Analytical CRM reporting (campaign measures, lift, control) competence

* Experience of the Marketing function and its processes in a number of segments, both B2B and B2C - drawn from Banking, Insurance, Telecommunications, Retail or Consumer Goods industries

* Knowledge of DMP technology: how to create audiences and measure Display Ad campaign performance

Technical skills

* Knowledge of and experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Pardot

* Knowledge of Salesforce DMP

* Obtain Salesforce certifications, as required by role, upon hire

* Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus

* Technical understanding of Marketing Automation implementation processes (end-to-end) including integration with third party environments in order to trigger messaging via API

* Integration with Salesforce Sales / Service Cloud via Salesforce Marketing Cloud Connector

* Web application development experience and knowledge of browser compatibility issues

* Experience in building Web Service enabled applications (RESTful APIs)
