Mechanical Design Engineer / Project Engineer - EssexSalary: £35,000 - £40,000Travel: 90% of the time will be spent in the office, however some travel to client sites across the UK & Oversees will be required. There is on-site parking at the officeAn exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join an expanding team. The business is an engineering solutions provider within the Electronics sector, and offer services including project management, testing and consultancy. They have a wide customer base across the world from hospitals, government and military customers through to commercial electronics companies.RoleThe role will include management of the entire project lifecycle, including site surveys, and client and supplier liaison. This will encompass design, manufacture and management of projects, both internally and at client site. Although most of this company's business is in the UK, they do have some overseas clients - so a degree of international travel is expected.The role is Mechanically focused, and you will have input on the Mechanical Design and production of the company's products. Requirements·         Mechanical engineering background.  ·         Autodesk Inventor Experience.·         Understanding of hydraulics / pneumatics systems.  ·         Simple control systems understanding.  ·         Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects.  ·         Good verbal and written communication skills.  ·         Highly motivated, organised and confident in managing work and taking responsibility for project delivery. ·         A full UK driver's licence is essential for this position as travel to sites may be required. Benefits·         Competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000·         Opportunity for travel·         Paid OvertimeThe search for this role has already been put in motion, and interviews are being set up from 16th April 2018.
