SC Cleared Data Migration Project Manager - Aldershot with travel to London - Initial 3 months

SC Cleared Data Migration Project Manager required to join a technology company working on a project for a public sector client. The role will be based in Aldershot with travel to the client site in London on an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities

* This is a client facing role

* Managing a live data migration project migrating Share Point, Exchange and user data from a legacy platform to a new strategic platform

* Managing and leading a project involving one or more functions and teams to drive the delivery of the project

* Developing schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for assigned program.

* Coordinating activities of supporting project teams and internal and external development partners; tracking progress against established plan and making decisions to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.

* Communicating project progress, escalations, and issuing analysis to product stakeholders; collaborating with management and internal manufacturing and development partners to implement changes to product, process, or program plan to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules.

Knowledge and Skills

* Experience of data migration projects, ideally including Share Point and Exchange migrations

* Using project planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

* Demonstrated experience coordinating and directing matrixed teams and resources.

* Ability to create and manage program schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.

* Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels.

* Collaborates with peers, junior engineers and project managers, technicians, and external and internal manufacturing and design partners.

* Typically interacts with high-level Individual Contributors, Managers and Program Core Teams.

* High attention to detail

* Role is based in Aldershot, with travel to client site in central London

Suitable candidates will ideally hold active SC clearance or will be willing and eligible to undergo SC clearance checks.
