£25'000-£30'000 + Training + Progression + Pension + 28 days holiday

Do you come from a manufacturing background and have an appreciation for health and safety?

Are you looking for a role that will be fun, varied, challenging and offer training and progression into senior roles?

In this role you will be tasked with stream lining all the admin work for the health and safety team. After a few month you will start to introduce new health and safety into the business. Once you have gained more experience and received further training & qualifications you will be expected to progress into the manager role.

The ideal candidate will currently have health and safety experience but this company will look at someone from a production/ manufacturing environment who wants to pursue a career in health and safety.

This is a great role for a someone looking for a career in health and safety with a company that has a history of developing and progressing their staff.

The role:

*Conducting EHS Inductions for all new employees across site.

*Identify & assist with the preparation and delivery of EHS training to existing employees.

*Compile & Analyse daily, weekly and monthly EHS statistics for reports

*Supporting the H&S Manager and Managers with Iincident investigations.

*Support the implementation of the World Class Manufacturing Safety Pillar across site.

*Track the weekly improvement plan

*Other reasonable duties and projects as assigned.

*Progression into health and safety manager.

The person:

*Come from an engineering or manufacturing background.

*Candidates with Health and Safety experience will have an advantage but full training will be given.

*Keen to learn new skills and develop.
