A unique opportunity has arisen for an entrepreneurial and experienced Senior Sales Executive to join and contribute to the international expansion of a fast-growing analytics startup and AI Disrupter recognised by Gartner as a ‘Cool Vendor in Analytics’ and who have already grabbed the attention of the world’s tech giants and well-renown ecommerce companies. The company has just raised £25M to strengthen its presence in the US and launch its operations in the UK and Asia.
In the early stages of building their UK team, the successful candidate will be professional, hungry and new business focussed. As the second man on the ground they will report in directly to new UK Head of Sales - credited for his part in the huge US success of Tableau. An exciting time for the right candidate to make an impact on the shape of the company and create value for the firm and him/herself.
Responsibilities:
-Target ecommerce SMEs (Travel / Gaming / FinTech) and FTSE 500 companies - Prospect and develop effective relationships with a portfolio of clients
-Sell across multiple business divisions and at board level
-Demonstrate a consultative understanding of the territory, marketplace and sector-specific business issues
-Manage a complex sales process - provide regular reporting of actions and results
-Participate in events and exhibitions as ambassador of the brand
Candidate Profile:
-Previous track record in sales software is essential
-Demonstrable knowledge around analytics solutions and advanced understanding of the end benefits
-Creative new business hunter
-A natural deal maker with proven track record of new business wins and closing small and big ticket deals
-Excellent relationship cultivating skills - supportive and contributory
-Problem-solving approach and consultative communication style - driven to create value and provide insight for clients to help them achieve end goals
-Ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment
