Public Health England (PHE) is an executive agency of the Department of Health providing; strategic leadership, research, advice and support for Government, local authorities and the NHS in protecting and improving the nation’s health.
This Software Developer post is a critical IT resource required to help design and develop bespoke specialist applications for surveillance purposes. You will bring specialist skills-set and expertise to developing and supporting national surveillance systems, including supporting existing systems and in the development of a new surveillance system.
This is a great opportunity for an exceptional C# .NET, ASP .NET and MVC Web developer to work within a multidisciplinary team.
Essential skills: MVC 4.0 or higher, ASP.NET, C# Web Development with .NET 3.5 framework or higher, JQuery, JavaScript, Microsoft SQL Server 2012, 2014 and SSRS technologies.
The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced Software Developer who comes from an application development background and has been working in the .Net framework for a several years with an in-depth knowledge and hands on experience of MVC.
