Job Title: Web and Mobile Developer

Location: Islington

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Award-winning Islington based business communication agency seeks talented and experienced digital developer to bring quality and imagination to our client work.

Job Purpose:

* To deliver diverse, high-quality websites and apps

* Front-to-back developer with emphasis on the back-end but able to build great looking layouts from designs provided

* Be part of a quick moving, innovative team where ideas are always welcome

Main accountabilities:

* The planning, build and implementation of mobile friendly, responsive websites and mobile web-apps

* Involvement in project and client briefings to deliver to time and budget

* Suggest ideas to evolve and improve current projects, responding to client needs and relevant trends

* Share knowledge with colleagues to improve skills

The Ideal Candidate:

* Will have at least two-three years' experience in web development and will thrive in a fast-paced environment, creating engaging and accessible, cross-platform digital communications.

* A passion for the ever-changing online world is critical and you will also be comfortable delivering in a fast paced environment, understanding schedule and resource requirements.

* Will be a team player, a great communicator, hands-on, developing and coding projects such as ezines, microsites, apps, mobile and social media.

* Will offer creative and innovative digital solutions ensuring that the work you deliver is on brief and fully functional from a visual and usability perspective. A sound knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, databases, different CMSs and web standards required. Ideally an interest in Office 365 too.

Core skills:

* HTML HTML5, CSS, JS, MySQL and PHP

* W3C Web standards for cross-browser compatibility

* A working knowledge of different platforms and their implementation, ideally WordPress and custom builds

* Development management processes, ideally: Git, Sass and Gulp

* Ability to pick up new platforms and learn on the job

* Any knowledge of cloud and social media platforms would be great, especially. office 365
