Are you someone who can thrive in a busy and highly visible environment? We are looking for someone to lead our Shared Technology Service at Stevenage and East Herts Councils; joining us at an important point in our journey to robustly transform and operationally improve our IT service. You will be responsible for ensuring both Councils have the right IT service and delivering a safe and resilient technology environment for the Councils services to work within, which at the same time enables and supports ambitious digital agendas and supports both Councils to meet the challenge of creating efficiencies for the benefit of our customers.

We are looking for a credible, technologist leader who can effectively engage with our stakeholders across both councils. You will have experience in delivering transformative IT services and successful IT operations within the available resources. This is an exciting time to join us, as we are looking to consolidate and improve the service we offer and this is a chance for you to make high profile change and impact in IT delivery that supports both Councils bold corporate plans.
