Mechanic

Stowmarket, Suffolk (commutable from Stowmarket, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Colchester, Braintree, Sudbury, Lowestoft, Thetford, Norfolk, Suffolk)

3 month contract - potential permanent position

£21k pro rata + overtime,

Are you a mechanic or vehicle technician who has some experience with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components, looking for specific training to become an agricultural specialist mechanic?

Established over 30 years ago this company specialises in the design and manufacturing of specialist machinery. Due to the expansion of the company and its passion for its products and a desire to be innovative, they are looking for a production assembler to join the team.

In this role you will be responsible for the assembly and sub assembly of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components. You will need to operate a range of hand tools and air operated power tools to assemble machines.

The Role:

*Assembling specialist mechanical machinery

*Building machines from start to finish

*Working on agricultural equipment/machines.

The Person:

*Strong experience with mechanical components

*Vehicle Technicians, Mechanics, Plant or ex-forces background
