SharePoint Business Analyst

As part of the delivery team, this role will support the development of business requirements and processes related to document management life-cycle management. As a business-facing role, the individual must be comfortable dealing with both back-office personnel and senior stakeholders both within the business and the technology functions.

Skills Required;

* Knowledge of SharePoint

* Extensive experience of document management systems.

* Experience in large change / transformation programmes.

* Attention to detail applying quality standards to all tasks undertaken and ensuring that nothing is overlooked

You will be required to complete the following;

* Be proficient with technology, including MS Office applications, data integration, process automation, databases, executing data imports, running exports, merging records, and running reports

* Identify and document business requirements with regards to the creation, storing, sharing, and workflow management of documents by running requirement gathering workshops, staff surveys, site visits, reviewing existing business process documentation, and use cases.

* Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully manage their files/documentation

* Deliver informative, well-organised presentations and business cases where required

* Support the process of developing a common taxonomy and document classification hierarchy.

* Work with SharePoint consultant to define appropriate document migration strategy from the current Q drive to the new SharePoint Online environment.

* Create training materials and documentation for business users for new tools.
