1st Line Support Analyst, Windows, Server, Hardware, Active Directory, Networks

We currently have a new job opportunity available for a 1st Line Support Analyst with our client based between Oxford and Reading. The 1st Line Support Analyst will be joining a global commercial organization who work some of the largest companies in the world. The 1st Line Support Analyst will ideally be someone with a passion for IT and experience within a 1st Line Support Analyst positions or similar.

The position of 1st Line Support Analyst is an important role as they will be the face of IT for the business. Joining a friendly and profession technical team the 1st Line Support Analyst will be responsible for the smooth operations and running of IT support, IT Hardware and software for the business’ internal staff around the globe!

Key Technical Knowledge required for this 1st Line Support position:

                     Good knowledge of Windows OS 7 & 10.

                     Previous experience working in a Windows Active Directory environment.

                     In depth understanding of hardware

                     Windows Server 2008/2012 and 2016.

                     Able to set up and troubleshoot docking stations and monitors

                     Understanding of Computer Networks (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, DHCP and DNS).

                     Comfortable using and troubleshooting Apple and Android devices.

                     Some Exposure to desktop imaging technologies (WDS, MDT).

You will also have the opportunity to gain valuable experience with the following:

                     Office 365.

                     Firewalls.

                     Cisco Switches

                     Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure

                     Virtual servers & Hypervisors.

                     Meraki Access Points.

                     Encryption technologies, Ideally BitLocker.

                     Mobile device management systems (MDM)
