This is an opportunity for a Web Designer to join an exciting and growing digital agency based in the outskirts of Liverpool. With a team of 16 strong, they work in areas including Web Design, Wordpress and Ecommerce Development, SEO and PPC. They are currently recruiting a Web Designer to support their growing customer base and are looking to attract the best talent.

They would like someone who can design and code, but don't be put off if you feel you're better at one than the other. If you're great at what you do you'll still be an asset to the team!

Salary is dependant on experience.

With previous design experience you should be able to provide examples of quality coded websites you have developed for them to view before they will consider you for this position.

It is important that applicants have a strong core understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 and have demonstrable knowledge of the Adobe suite, specifically Photoshop.

Key skills:

- 2+ years experience designing and building websites

- Strong core skills in HTML5 and CSS3

- Strong Photoshop skills

- Experience of using Javascript in projects including jQuery

- Experience building or customising WordPress themes

- Basic understanding of CSS pre-processors, such as LESS and Sass (Sass preferred)

- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

- Understanding of SEO, ensuring that websites adhere to basic principles

- Ability to produce quality design work at a fast pace to tight deadlines

- Working knowledge of online best practices

- Working knowledge of responsive web design
