PHP/MySQL Analyst/Programmer (SC Cleared), Central Government, 5 Months, Bristol
There is a requirement for a skilled IT developer to complete the development of a web application. The application has been partially developed and the need is to build upon this and see the project through to completion.
You will be working with a team of four analyst/programmers, one of whom is the Team leader. Customers for the application are co-hosted.
The contractor will be required to work semi independently of Statistics staff liaising closely with the customers to gather detailed requirements and subsequently design and build an application to suit the customers' needs. Where possible the development should follow an Agile route utilizing the environment and facilities. Develop web applications hosted on a Linux environment, server support is provided by a separate team. The design must be agreed with the existing team as they need to ensure that they have the correct skills to ensure continues support.
Key Skills/Experience
* Program in Java script
* Have experience of developing web-based applications using PHP/MySQL.
* Have experience of using PHPStorm
* Have experience of using GITLab
* Experience in Government/Public Sector
