Senior Java Developers x2 / Coventry / £45,000 - £55,000 / Leading Software companyA leading software organisation based in Coventry (near Coventry Airport) are on the lookout for 2 Senior Java Developers to join their team on a permanent basis.These roles will be working in a new team on the full software development lifecycle and will be working on a product you will be proud to develop and support.The roles will give the successful developers the opportunity to architect and implement software projects in an environment where the software stack choices will be a product of the requirements rather than a limitation of the solution.The senior java developers will manage the code base ensuring high quality, consistency and good test coverage. Working alongside the team project manager to gather and convert requirements into concrete specification and development tasks.The role is suited to someone who can lead a development team through the full software development lifecycle and is eager to solve interesting problems while still writing code.They are looking for candidates to have at least 5 years commercial experience working with Java web programming, as well as;- Java Application Frameworks such as Spring or Java EE- Web-based user interface technology such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript- Experience analysing customer requirements and suggesting creative solutions to business problems- Source version control used within a team (ideally with Git)Desirable:- Agile development processes- JBoss application Server- Spring (including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data and Spring Security)- JPA/ Hibernate- GitFlow- Enterprise Java Beans- Team leading experienceThe salary for these roles is between £45,000 - £55,000pa depending on experiemce.
