IFS ERP Support Analyst - £37,000 - Gloucestershire

Currently on offer is an exclusive opportunity to join an industry leading engineer and manufacturer within their niche market. Having recently made the decision to implement a new IFS ERP system, my client is looking to add a capable systems' analyst to their IT team to assist with the implementation and provide support to end users in their day to day interactions with the system and it's applications.

This role is a great chance for an IFS support analyst to expand on their knowledge and experience with the system, as a chance is created to work with other IFS professionals and specialists directly from IFS. It is also a fantastic opportunity for a professional with experience supporting other ERP systems to break into the IFS space as my client is offering bespoke cross-training to candidates who show the potential and willingness to learn the system.

The role is a key position during the implementation, as the right candidate will be the point-of-call amongst the rest of the IT team.

In this role you can expect to:

* Assist your technical team in developing the system by gathering requirements, process mapping, conducting gap analysis, and writing specifications

* Provide 1st and 2nd line support to end users of the system

*Analyse, customise and make company specific improvements to the system

To be considered for this role you must:

* Confident delivering 1st and 2nd line support to users at all levels

* Experience supporting an ERP system in a business environment

* Exposure to system applications

You will be at an advantage if:

* You have past experience working with/ supporting IFS systems

* Capable of working with SQL to write queries and create stored procedures, views and triggers

* You can effectively communicate with all levels of management and possess strong project management skills.
