Health and Safety Officer (Manufacturing)

Location - Dorset - Poole, Bournemouth, Ferndown

£29,000 - £37,000 + Holiday

9 - 12 month fixed term contract

Are you an experienced Health and Safety Officer looking for a fully autonomous role in a company that is undergoing heavy expansion?

On offer is the chance to work in a market leading company, having full autonomy of their facilities. You will need to be a pragmatic individual who is a good communicator as you will need to support staff, whilst coaching them to ensure they follow all Health and Safety procedures in a way that they can then identify, manage and record the risks connected to their work in written (or in data capture) format.

This is a well-established company that are market leaders in the products that they manufacture and are part of a massive group of companies. They require a HSE officer from a manufacturing background to join their team to cover maternity.

This role would suit an experienced Health and Safety Officer with a background in an engineering or a manufacturing facility, you will be carrying out inspections, creating risk assessments amongst other tasks.

* Engaging with and coaching staff

* Carrying out risk assessments, inspections and audits

* Managing Health and safety in manufacturing facilities

* Health and Safety advisor

* NEBOSH Diploma

* Manufacturing background
