We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior IT Support Analyst to join a leading retailer at their UK Head Office in London. The primary goal of the Senior IT Support Analyst is to ensure the ensure the smooth IT operations for the UK and Ireland by managing relationships, costs, assets and user experience to guarantee that the service provided is first-class and that the business have the rights tools to ensure smooth trading. The Senior IT Support Analyst will also be responsible for the line management of one IT Support Analyst, so this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for their first supervisory/management role.
As the Senior IT Support Analyst, you will take a lead role in recommending IT policies and procedures by identifying problems, evaluating trends & anticipating requirements, working closely with Global IT to ensure your local strategy and projects are aligned with theirs. The successful Senior IT Support Analyst will also have an element of financial responsibility within the business, such as forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures and managing relationships with vendors.
Skills and experience required for the Senior IT Support Analyst:
* Previous IT Support experience within a retail business.
* Experience of Windows 7/10.
* Experience of working supporting Microsoft Office 2010 to 2016/365.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business, SharePoint, Yammer, and other 365 services.
* Previous budget, cost, and vendor management is essential.
