Contract - Software Architect - Bradford

Day Rate: £550 - £700 per day

Duration: 3 months

One of Yorkshire leading service providers is looking for a Software Architect to join their technology function.

As a Software Architect your role will define and govern development architectures, technologies, tools and methodologies within their area of specialism ensuring the delivery of best practice

software solutions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES, SPECIFIC FOR ROLE:

> * Define effective and simplified software architectural patterns

> * Create, implement and maintain appropriate development technology roadmaps

> * Define effective and efficient governance processes for development activities,

> * Provide technical leadership and direction in the development of software solutions,

> * Keep abreast of emerging development technologies and architectures

> * Support the identification and appointment of Technology Framework Partners.

> * Support the development of the integrated Technology Blueprint Plan and delivery of the annual Business Plan.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

> * Extensive hands-on experience of designing and developing complex, scalable, multi-tier software solutions, utilising a range of technologies and architectures.

> * Experience of architectural frameworks, tools, patterns and the production of associated artefacts to the support the software development lifecycle.

> * Extensive knowledge of the full development life cycle including specification, design, testing and delivery.

> * Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, TOGAF & ITIL principles.

> * Ability to absorb complex technical information, communicate effectively and present ideas and business cases to all levels

> Software Architect, £550 to £700 per day, 3 months with possible extensions.
