Java Developer / Senior Java Programmer (Multi-threading FIX Linux Agile Spring). World leading financial trading organisation is seeking a talented Senior Java Developer to design and develop new features and functions for a low-latency trading platform. You will work closely with 3rd party suppliers, traders and other developers throughout the full development lifecycle to deliver elegant solutions to interesting technical challenges.

As a Senior Java Developer you will build multi-threaded, distributed systems, handling thousands of messages a second. Based in the City, this is a friendly and cooperative Agile environment that offers a good work / life balance and excellent career prospects.

Requirements:

*Strong core Java skills

*Good understanding of multi-threading / concurrency

*Experience of high throughput distributed systems

*Degree educated in Computer Science or a closely related subject

*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

*Desirable: Spring, JMS, XML, JMX, FIX, finance experience
