Excellent opportunity within this financial firm experiencing unprecedented growth, for an experienced QA & Automation Lead, to drive the successful automation and tooling with Quality (QA and the cross-firm Test function). IT is committed to the full Agile integration of Testing into Development for true TDD/BDD. In addition to greenfield and brownfield development, there is a major project transforming their real-time calculation platforms to brand new massively up-scaled Java based in-house built solutions, largely based on Open Source stack (Java, SQL/NoSQL, Selenium, AWS).

As a QA & Automation Lead you will be responsible for establishing and evolving formal processes, managing and mentoring a team and managing vendors/partners and constantly assess the technologies and techniques in the market place to build into the ever-evolving Test and process automation. They are looking for an experienced Test Automation specialist, (SDET), a strong background in building automated Frameworks from the ground up, (Java, C#), within a demanding business area.

Your reports will be working side by side with Developers and you will need to draw on your considerable Agile experience and its pragmatic application and be a problem solver. It is likely you will have at least 5 years’ experience of leading successful Testing groups in Agile environments where you have played a major part in its adoption. Experience of Open Stack (Java, Linux/Unix, Protractor, AWS). You will have a strong technology background, Java and/or C#, and have worked with business-critical real-time information systems.
