A wonderful opportunity to join a highly respected and very busy construction business. In our opinion, one of the UKs best construction contractors. Our client is working on a high value, and prestigious development in South West London, that includes a multitude of high rise residential buildings, that will be completed over the coming years.
We are seeking an experienced and capable Planner to join their planning team. You'll be working with a team of planners and will have good support and career development.
It is imperative that you are a very capable and experienced Planner. This is an intermediate level position, so circa 3-5 years working as a Planner. You will be one of 4 Planners on this project, so you'll have to be a team player, a good communicator and be willing to learn and take responsibility. Ideally you will have a deep understanding of the construction process, and maybe you'll have started your career in the building sector as an Engineer or Site or Project Manager, so you'll understand the various challenges during a project at the different stages.
Qualifications sought
Construction Management / Construction Qualification (such as HNC / HND or Degree desirable);
Professional Qualification (such as MCIOB desirable);
CSCS Card (not essential)
SMSTS (not essential)
Essential Experience
Over 3+ years experience in high rise residential and mixed use construction / development.

Job Requirements
1 Detailed understanding of construction planning and programming;
2 Detailed understanding of construction sequences;
3 Detailed understanding of construction details;
4 Detailed understanding of site logistic requirements;
5 Monitor progress and report as required;
6 Detailed understanding of site presentation and appearance area requirements; and
7 Detailed knowledge and adherence to Company Quality Control Procedures (TQM)
Remuneration
Depending of experience we can pay circa £60,000 (potentially a little more), plus benefits package.
