Marketing Performance Manager - Nottingham - 6 Month Contract

My client, a large Energy and Utilities company are looking to hire a Marketing Performance Manager for a 6 month contract assignment. The role will be based full time in Nottingham within the Marketing and Communications team and can offer a competitive daily rate.

Role Information:

* The purpose of the role is to drive continuous improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of all UK marketing and communication activity by establishing financial and analytical evaluation framework and leading improvement strategy.

* Establish best-practice marketing effectiveness analytical framework to give clear, accurate and timely understanding of marketing performance across multiple campaigns and channels.

* Support in establishing best-practice financial oversight and governance of marketing budget, establishing clear link between budgets and outcomes

* Recommend changes to activity to better optimise marketing activity plans and budget allocations

Required Skills:

* Extensive experience working with marketing performance measures and the optimisation across a range of channels.

* Strong stakeholder influencing skills, with proven ability to change behaviour absent direct reporting lines while maintaining good relationships

* Clear and effective written and verbal communicator, able to simplify complex findings into clear recommendations

* Financially literate and commercially-minded, with experience driving financial improvements

* Numerate and analytically literate, able to understand, validate and challenge marketing effectiveness methodologies

* Candidates with experience of working in a B2B or for a marketing agency are also of interest. The client has also expressed and experience within the Energy and Utilities sector would be nice to see.
