In support of a Global Medical Device company, I am looking for a Process Engineer with experience in Injection Moulding to join the team at their state of the art facility in Wiltshire.

In summary, you will lead and provide technical support for the specification, purchase, installation and qualification of Plastic Injection Mould tools and equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Lead project activities for plastic injection moulding and process development from concept phase through to pilot line and industrial manufacturing processes.

* Lead and facilitate design / specification, purchase, installation and qualification of mould tools, moulding machines, ancillary equipment and service requirements for their installation.

* Selection and management of moulding equipment suppliers for the project. · Identify and implement process improvements (efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness).

* Management of project activities in accordance to project schedule and budget.

* Working closely with the project team to ensure required support is provided to meet project objectives.

* Fully document project activities and equipment qualification work in accordance with internal procedures, GMP and Regulatory Controls.

* Support integration of new technologies in plastic injection moulding and process development for the site.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

* Plastic injection moulding technologies, mould tool designs and process development knowledge and experience.

* Problem analysis, fault finding on injection mould tools and equipment.

* Design of Experiment for plastic injection moulding process development.

* Structured and controlled working practices with clear and accurate documentation, reporting and presentation skills.

* Project management skills (MS Project).

* Risk analysis / FMEA.

* Statistical analysis / SPC system.

* Six Sigma methodologies.

* Knowledge of GMP and Regulatory requirements for medical industry.

* Ability to work within a Cleanroom environment.
