Junior Product Engineer (Electronics)

Paignton - Commutable from Exmouth, Exeter, Plymouth

£30,000 - £35,000 + Progression + Training + Healthcare + Pension + 33 days holiday

Do you have electronics design experience looking to step into a Product Engineer role while receiving continual training, progression and be involved in the development of the next generation of high tech equipment for an international market leader?

On offer is the opportunity to work for a high technology provider whose main customer base includes Cisco, Microsoft and Google while working on the development of new technologies that will be the next generation of state of art electronic and telecommunications products.

In this varied role you will be receive training on some of the most advanced electronics on the market. You will be involved in the full manufacturing process including design, development of prototyping of state of the art optical devices. You will also be involved with the manufacturing team in bringing products from prototyping through to mass manufacture.

The company itself are a market leader within the telecommunications industry and supply to a long list of international blue chip clients such as Cisco, Google and Microsoft. Working at the forefront of technology to provide high-tech solutions in a fast paced industry the company are looking to solidify their position and maintain the current high standards they are renowned for.

This role would suit someone with electronics design experience in optics or photonics with experience looking for training and progression within an international market leading company.

The Role

·Involved with design, development, prototyping and manufacture of products

·Receive ongoing training and development of electronic processes and software

·Developing high tech, specialist products for the next generation of components

The Person

·Electronics Design Engineer looking to step into a Product Engineer position

·Honours degree in physics, optics, electronics or similar

·Looking to receive continual training and development with progression opportunities
