QA Test Analyst

INSIDE IR35 - CANDIDATES MUST OPERATE THROUGH AN UMBRELLA COMPANY

We are working with a business in Bristol who are now looking for a Contract QA Test Analyst to join them on an initial 4 month contract.

The client have just re-branded and changed to a different company so they require someone who can come into the business and make the systems that were built for the old business, fit for purpose now they are operating as the new company.

Roles and Responsibilities

-Undertake functional and non-functional testing on IT Systems

-Taking user stores and design documents to propose test plans and test solutions to fit in line with my clients QA standards

-Preparing test data using technologies like SQL Server

-Working closely with developers, other testers and the product owner to understand, mitigate and resolve software issues in an Agile way

-Maintain defect reports

-Be proactive in communicating testing status progress against plans, making sure you take action where/if necessary

-Writing Regression test scripts for developers to implement as part of the automated continuous integration test suite

Skills Required

-Functional Testing/Non-functional testing

-Test Analysis

-Experience with Visual Studio Team System or Team Foundation Server would be a good advantage

-T-SQL in a MS SQL Server context would also be beneficial.

Please note, this role will fall INSIDE IR35, and you must operate through an Umbrella company.
