One of the United Kingdom's leading Independent Connection Provider's is seeking a Project Manager for their high-voltage division. Scope of work

Leading the high-voltage division of one of the United Kingdom's leading Independent Connection Provider's, the Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of turnkey projects and network connections across multiple business sectors. Liaising with local authorities and Distribution Network Operators, you will be accountable for the delivery of contracts in accordance with contract conditions and customer requirements.

It is important that as Project Manager, you are able to deliver projects on-time and to budget. This role will see you collaborate closely with engineers and designers to compile project specifications and produce designs to customer requirements. In what is a senior management role within the organisation, you will be responsible for a team of six direct reports and, on occasion, sub-contract staff when projects are particularly busy. It is vital that you have an understanding of the important of health and safety and apply a relevant approach to ensure all project activity is in accordance with health and safety regulations. Furthermore, you will plan required resource in line with budgetary requirements and prepare detailed financial reports for the board.

Reporting into the East Midlands facility, this role will involve travel across the United Kingdom to visit projects nationwide. This should only account for approximately 1-2 days a week, with the remaining time spent based from the office.

You will:

* Possess an electrical engineering background

* Have a proven record in the delivery of high-voltage projects

* Have worked and managed under the National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS)

* Be able to commute to their East Midlands facility

* Have worked within the electricity power distribution industry and be familiar with its standard, procedures and practices

* Be willing to travel across the UK to attend project sites as and when required.

The company is paying a basic salary of between £50,000-£60,000 basic salary (depending on experience) with a discretionary bonus, car allowance, pension, private healthcare and holiday of 25 days plus 8 stats.
