About the role:

Our Business Information Systems are fundamental to our success. In this key role, you’ll play a vital part in our new ambitious programme to transform student experience by providing essential business information systems support.

As a result of restructuring and centralising IT Services, we’re looking for a talented and creative application analyst with strong technical knowledge and experience of working with large systems. You’ll be responsible for the management, maintenance and support of a number of specific business applications. Experience of Higher Education business information systems such as Finance, HR, Estates & Facilities and Access Control systems would be advantageous. Applied knowledge of MS SQL Server Transact SQL would also be beneficial.

With a degree or relevant professional qualification, you’ll have experience of managing and supporting business applications and of working with large database systems. You’ll have experience of providing software and systems support to end users and of system configuration and administration. Experience of requirement gathering, analysis and testing of systems is essential. With good technical knowledge of database systems and application environments, you’ll be able to work both independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines. With a high degree of accuracy, you’ll have demonstrable experience of providing high quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
