Business Analyst AGILE Development
We are looking for a Business Analyst with significant expereince within Agile web development projects for this gobal business. The purpose of the role is to develop a deep understanding of the business requirements and processes and to document these in a number of formal and non-formal methods to create the epics, themes and user stories for the project team to digest. These requirements will then be used to create a vision of the user experience.
Leadership in developing requirements and processes in an Agile project structure.
Translate business needs into high level and detailed business requirements, and work with the Development Team to convert them into feasible technical solutions that resolve existing issues and make business and system improvements which support business objectives.
Define functional and system specifications and support the user and acceptance testing to ensure that each step has been carried out, the built solution meets budget, quality, and customer need and any implications for the business have been identified and analysed.
Document business requirements, business processes and system requirements including the outputs of formal analysis techniques so that there is an accurate record.
Map E2E, cross functional processes working across organisational boundaries. Ability to understand and map different levels (e.g. high level to very detailed procedure level) using industry recognised notation.
Liaise with 3rd party suppliers' development teams to convert customer requirements into technical solutions.
Investigate, research and propose new developments in technology that may be usefully applicable to the wider business to improve the current service.
Skills / Experience Required:
5+ years of Business Analysis experience following Agile principle
Ability to think logically and apply structure to break down complex tasks into simple/digestible components
Ability to lead and co-ordinate workshops/sessions with multiple stakeholders
Willing to get into the details and 'own' the documentation of stories/requirements with absolute clarity with no room for ambiguity
Expert in process mapping, using industry recognised notation (M)
Experience in workshop facilitation and excellent negotiation skills.
Experience in business process modelling
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders from different business groups, adapting style and delivery to audience needs
Articulate and able to influence at senior management level, and lead effectively at working level
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, clearly articulating ideas, solutions and recommendations across all levels of the organisation
Ability to produce coherent and complete user stories, wireframes and to manage a product backlog.
