1st Line Support
One of our Birmingham based clients is seeking a 1st line support administrator to join their expanding team. You will be experienced working within an IT Support Helpdesk environment and passionate about technology. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an expanding team providing support across the wider business. You will be the first point of contact for all staff, and will gain exposure to learning new systems, with the opportunity to get involved in a fast developing infrastructure.
1st line duties will include but not limited to:
*Provide 1st line technical support to internal users
*Escalate tickets to the 2nd line team
*Maintain and support the internal IT systems
*Manage IT tickets
*Provide basic IT support - user accounts, email, telephony and hardware
As 1st line support, you will be required to possess:
Knowledge/understanding of the following:
*Active Directory
*Windows7/10
*MS Office
*Antivirus systems
*IT helpdesk software
*Basic understanding of IT concepts - desktop hardware repair, software installation and security patching
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has experience working within a 1st line support environment previously. You will thrive working within a high pressure environment and be used to dealing with end users in a calm and patient manor.
