We're looking for a Linux Systems Administrator / Monitoring Engineer to join a leading company based in Oxford. The Linux Systems Administrator / Monitoring Engineer will be pioneering a brand new function within the company, taking complete ownership for all the monitoring systems and the implementation of Zabbix into the company. This is a great position for a Linux Systems Administrator looking to focus on monitoring, or an existing Monitoring Engineer! The Role As the Linux Systems Administrator / Monitoring Engineer you will be working with multiple teams in the company, taking ownership of all the monitoring systems. This involves gathering requirements from stakeholders in the business regarding their monitoring needs, configuring the monitoring systems, and performing updates and improvements. The Linux Systems Administrator / Monitoring Engineer will be monitoring Linux servers, storage systems, networking hardware, and software applications, so it's very varied! Any scripting and automation experience would be great, and previous experience with ServiceNow would really set you apart! Key skills:
